The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. New Pass Welcome!

Roles:

  • HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Saturday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)

Hours:

  • Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Pay Rate:

  • Nights - £14.91 per hour PAYE rising to £15.61

Location:

  • Swindon, SN3

Job Type:

  • Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

  • Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units & conducting collections.
  • Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.
  • Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.
  • Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.
  • Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
