We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

The role

  • Trucking only.
  • Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
  • Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
  • Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
  • Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm all paid at night rate.
  • Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
