Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Bristol area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Roles Available:
- HGV Class 2 – Nights
- HGV Class 2 – Days
Shifts: Work available Monday to Sunday. Weekend work is required.
Start Times:
- Class 2 Night shifts start between 20:00pm - 23:59pm
- Class 2 Day shifts start between 14:00pm - 18:00pm
Pay Rate:
- Class 2 Days – £15.60 per hour PAYE
- Class 2 Nights – £17.59 per hour PAYE
Location: Bristol, BS35
Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for permanent.
The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
- 1 month experience required.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
