HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights TRCGroup Preston, Lancashire, United Kingdom
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.
Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Times: 15:00pm - 19:00pm starts
Pay Rates:
- Between 6am to 10pm - £17.24 per hour PAYE rising to £17.75 after 12 weeks
- Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE
Location: Preston, PR2
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.
- Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
