The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. New pass welcome to apply.

Shift:

  • Afters - Shifts across Sunday to Saturday - typically 12:00 pm - 15:00 pm starts
  • Nights - Sunday to Friday (Sundays and Fridays required) - typically 23:59 pm starts and occasional 03:00 am start on a Sunday

Pay Rate:

  • Afters - £15.64 per hour PAYE
  • Nights - £17.98 per hour PAYE

Location: Weybridge, KT13

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for a permanent role from day one available for nights

The role:

  • Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week – nights.
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers may be required to assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and a pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C)
  • Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on a licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
