Pay Rates
- £13.40 per hour
- Increased to £13.82 per hour upon successful completion of probation.
Hours & Shift Patterns
- Monday to Friday
- Average 50 hours per week
- 06:00 start – approximately 14:30 finish
- 14:00 start – approximately 22:00 finish
- Full-time ongoing work available
The Role
- Multi-drop delivery work across commercial and residential locations.
- Delivering furniture and household items including sofas, cabinets and other home furnishings.
- Up to 13 drops per day.
- Mixture of doorstep deliveries and room-of-choice deliveries.
- Some deliveries will involve furniture assembly within customers’ homes.
- Double manned vehicle crews.
- Drivers typically complete around 4 hours driving before swapping driving duties.
- Operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Minimum 2 years driving experience required.
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy items.
- Good customer service skills.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
