The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours:
- Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 01:30am β 06:00am starts
- Twilight Shifts Across Monday to Sunday, 13:00pm- 18:00pm starts (starts for this are from 16th November)
Pay Rate: Β£ Β£15.61 per hour
Location: Carlisle, CA6
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
- Some deliveries/ returns from addresses
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
