The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Monday to Friday- £ 16.36/ph PAYE

Job Type : Ongoing
The role:
- Mainly collections / some deliveries
- Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections/deliveries.
- Minimal loading/unloading
- Up to 10 stops per day
- Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
- Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Valid and up-to-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
- Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
