The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Job Details
- Open position for HGV Drivers.
Shift Patterns
- Part‑time – Sunday 4 am start, Monday and Tuesday 10 am–14:00 pm starts.
- Full‑time – shifts between Sunday and Saturday, 10 am–14:00 pm starts.
Pay Rate
- Class 2 – Days £15.56 per hour PAYE.
- Class 1 – Days £16.50 per hour PAYE.

- Crawley RH10
Job Type
- Ongoing with opportunity for permanent.
Responsibilities
- Securely move palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units.
- Handle runs with 1–2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicle using tail lift and pump truck.
- Interact with customers, representing company professionally and courteously.
Requirements
- Experience preferred; new passes welcome.
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C).
- Valid and up‑to‑date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Prepared to undertake short driving assessment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Safety‑first mindset.
