The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Carnforth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours/start times available: 12:15 pm start, 1:45 pm start, 5:30 pm start

Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour PAYE

Location: Carnforth, LA5 9XP

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role:

  • Trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
  • 1 year’s experience required.
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
