HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers – Warrington (WA5) Days or Nights | Rolled-Up Holiday Pay | Ongoing Work
The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is hiring experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers (C+E) to join our client's busy yard operation in Warrington (WA5).
Shifts Available: Days or Nights. Flexible shift patterns across Monday to Sunday. Ongoing, regular work.
Pay Rates (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay Only):
- Days: Monday to Thursday: £17.15, Friday to Sunday: £21.65
- Nights: Monday to Thursday: £18.40, Friday to Sunday: £22.62
The Role:
- Shunting trailers safely around the yard.
- Precise reversing and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
- Vehicle safety checks (pre and post shift).
- Working closely with yard and dispatch teams.
- Adhering to all site safety policies.
- Light yard duties as required.
Requirements:
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Successful site assessment (theory and practical).
- Good knowledge of WTD legislation.
- Strong communication and a safety-first attitude.
