We are currently hiring Sub-Assembly Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for the manufacture or assembly of components in accordance with drawings or customers’ requirements.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm; Friday 7am-1pm

Location: Lye, DY9

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.
  • Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
  • Inspecting, identifying and packing company products.
  • Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.
  • Adhering to all relevant ISO processes and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience.
  • Reliability and good communication skills.
  • Able to use hand tools.
  • Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
