The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Shifts Across Monday to Sunday. Hours AM shift. Pay Rates (2 payment options):
- Monday to Friday Days - £15.22ph PAYE / £17.06ph Rolled up.
- Saturday and Sunday Days - £16.68ph PAYE / £18.69ph Rolled up.
Location: Warrington, WA4.
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- General Haulage work.
- Occasional loading and unloading.
- Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 1 year proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
