HGV Class 1 Drivers – Warrington

The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Warrington (WA5).
If you are a new pass and comfortable reversing and coupling uncoupling feel free to apply!
Hours:
- Choose from afternoon or night shifts, available Monday to Sunday with various start times. Average shift length: 12 hours.
Free training provided.
Pay Rates (Rolled-up Holiday Pay Included):
Please note that from the 23rd of November till 20th of December there will be a £2 uplift.
- Monday to Thursday:
- PM: £17.37. £19.37 with £2 peak uplift
- Night: £18.16. £20.16 with £2 peak uplift
- Friday:
- PM: £17.93
- Night: £19.05
- Saturday:
- PM: £18.49
- Night: £19.61
- Sunday:
- PM: £19.05
- Night: £19.95
The Role:
- Trucking between depots, ensuring safe and timely parcel deliveries.
- Yard maneuvering and reversing with precision.
- Conducting vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Full UK Class 1 licence (Category C+E).
- Valid DCPC & Digital Tachograph card.
- Max 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Must pass an assessment, including:
- Theory test on drivers' hours & road laws.
- Practical test on yard reversing & short driving assessment.
- Understanding of WTD legislation.
