The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Monday to Friday. Hours: 9-11am starts (45 hours a week). Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour PAYE. Location: Runcorn, WA7. Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels).
- Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver.
- Safe loading and unloading of parcels onto a van.
- Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes.
- Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary, and deliver high standards of customer care.
- Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- Multi-drop experience (preferable).
- Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
