Reach Truck Driver We are hiring confident reach truck drivers across 4 different shifts to join our third-party logistics client based in Duckmanton, Chesterfield on a temp to perm basis! Pay Rate: Days – £12.45 Nights – £13.95 Shifts: Multiple set shift options available – Days 4on4off 06:00-18:00, Nights 4on4off 18:00-06:00, Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 rotating weekly, Nights Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00 The Role: This will be to join a multi-skilled team, operating around 45 other team members. Duties will consist of operating MHE and carrying our various warehouse duties as and when required. Duties: * Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse. * Picking and building onto pallets * Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE * Ensure the correct amount of product is picked * Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times * Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse * Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers * Occasional duties of marshalling, managing goods-in, and pallet checking, as requested by the site management team * Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager. * Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages * Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment * Expected to operate all MHE required to deliver operational requirements both current and future Candidate Requirements: * Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment. * Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning * Attention to detail and accuracy * Reliability and a good working attitude * Ability to work within a team, with the willingness to contribute towards continuous improvement initiative * Minimum of 6 months reach truck operating experience * Valid reach truck license (ideally accredited but we can accept in house providing candidates are happy to complete on site refresher) For more information, please apply with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch
