We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights. Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Times: 15:00pm - 19:00pm starts Pay Rates: Between 6am to 10pm - £17.24 per hour PAYE rising to £17.75 after 12 weeks Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE Location: Preston, PR2 Job Type: Ongoing The role: * Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels. * Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub. * Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. * Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: * Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). * Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. * 6 months minimum experience required * No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. * Excellent communication skills. * A safety-first mindset.
