The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)
Pay Rates:
- Class 1 PAYE: £15.77 per hour
- Class 1 Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour
- Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour
- Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour
Location: Tuxford, NG22.
Job Type: Ongoing with the potential for perm contract for the right candidate.
The role:
- General haulage – palletised goods (no food).
- Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use.
- Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 10 drops/collections).
- Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures.
- Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
- ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential.
- Must be 25+ (insurance purposes).
- Maximum 6 points – no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Strong communication & customer service skills.
