The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lockerbie area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Shifts Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours/start times available:
- 17:00pm start
- 18:30pm start
Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour PAYE
Location: Lockerbie, DG11 2HR
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- Trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
- Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
- Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
- 1 years’ experience required.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence (minor offences only).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on long-haul runs.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to high safety standards.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
