The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Liverpool area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Sunday (4 out of 7 days a week) 09:00am till 19:00pm

Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour, over time after 40 hours £23.43ph PAYE

Location: Liverpool, L11

Job Type: Ongoing (temp to perm)

The role:

  • Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
  • Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses.
  • Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
  • Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
  • Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement.
  • 12 months experience required.
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
