Lead Learning Disability Nurse (Hybrid)\\n\\nNational (can be based anywhere in England or Wales)\\n\\nUp to £55,000 per annum\\n\\n37.5 hours per week\\n\\nMUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NMC PIN\\n\\nWe cannot offer sponsorship for this position\\n\\nBenefits: £3,600 Car Allowance, 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays, Mileage\\n\\n18p-23p per mile, Registration Funding Yearly\\n\\nJOB PURPOSE\\n\\nWorking as part of the Adult Clinical Services to provide direct and indirect Nursing input for adults placed within our learning disability, mental health and Acquired Brain Injury services. The role primarily involves providing assessment, intervention and consultation to support the provision of high-quality services for Adults in Supported Living, Residential Homes and Acquired Brain Injury Services.\\n\\nThis role reports into our Associate Clinical Director and this opportunity offers great work-life balance and flexibility. The culture in our Adult’s Clinical team is very much open, transparent and built on trust.\\n\\nMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\\n\\nClinical\\n\\nTo provide specialist RNLD input to the service within the designated region, including providing clinical support and advice to professional colleagues.\\n\\nTo formulate, contribute to, and oversee the development and implementation of person-centred care plans for service users, ensuring these are co-produced and/or communicated to service users in their preferred method of communication.\\n\\nTo provide specialist advice and guidance on Autistic Spectrum Disorders.\\n\\nTo undertake therapeutic interventions appropriate to the work of the group, drawing on a range of evidence-based methods, models and tools as appropriate.\\n\\nTeaching/Training/ Supervision/ Consultation\\n\\nTo provide training and advice in Nursing approaches to care teams and to share skills and learning with internal and external professionals as appropriate.\\n\\nTo consult with and advise colleagues from other professions on Nursing assessment and treatment methods\\n\\nTo support, guide and supervise students and trainees.\\n\\nPolicy and Service Development\\n\\nTo participate in meetings concerned with the delivery and development of clinical services and contribute an RNLD perspective as appropriate.\\n\\nTo contribute as required to the planning and development of operational policies and service delivery through undertaking agreed project work.\\n\\nTo advise service and professional management on areas of service where issues of Nursing needs should be addressed and to take an agreed key role in implementing any required changes.\\n\\nEvaluation/Research/Development\\n\\nTo remain informed of and critically evaluate current research to support evidence-based practice in own professional work and to contribute this perspective in the practice and development of the services.\\n\\nProfessional/Administrative\\n\\nTo participate positively in regular management and clinical supervision, and an annual Appraisal.\\n\\nTo work within the Code of Ethics and the relevant professional practice guidelines of the Royal College of Nursing and the professional guidance frameworks of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the group.\\n\\nTo work within the framework of the policies and procedures of the group\\n\\nTo adhere to group EPIC Values (Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Caring)\\n\\nPersonal Development, Supervision and Training\\n\\nContinuously develop professional knowledge and expertise, attending and participating in learning and development events, meetings, conferences, and events (as requested/approved by the Associate Clinical Director for Adults) to ensure up to date knowledge relevant to the role and service development.\\n\\nAttend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external\\n\\nConfidentiality:\\n\\nAll staff are required to respect the confidentiality of all matters they may learn relating to their employment, other members of staff and the general public.\\n\\nTo assist with any other ad hoc duties commensurate to the job role and pay scale, as directed by management.\\n\\nESSENTIAL CRITERIA:\\n\\n * Must have a full UK driving license and be happy to travel nationally to the business needs\\n\\n * Must have your own vehicle\\n\\n * Must have an active NMC pin with no restrictions\\n\\nIf you feel like you tick the above boxes, please apply and one of our team will be in touch
