The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wakefield area. We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver (CAT C) to join the team on the day shift.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am starts (approximately 10-hour shifts).

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE.

Location: Wakefield, WF1.

Job Type: Temp

The role:

  • Safely and efficiently operate Class 2 Tipper vehicles.
  • Transport aggregates and materials to various locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues or discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven Tipper experience.
