HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well‑known and industry‑leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Multi‑drop Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Please note that candidates will be required to attend a 2‑day induction.

Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturdays as and when required, start times between 04:00am – 06:00am

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour PAYE

Location: Warrington, WA5

Job Type: Temp to perm

Role

• Multi‑drop deliveries (food industry) and delivering to a wide range of customers on pre‑planned routes
• Picking products/orders on the rear of the vehicle as part of the delivery process
• Deliveries will include carrying stock into kitchens/ customer premises
• Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves handball, sack truck, roll cage and pallet truck usage.
• Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism when interacting with customers and dealing with any issues as they arise
• Ensuring paperwork and invoices are correctly processed.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Have at least 6 months of experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Have multi‑drop experience, in the food industry would be beneficial
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physical fitness and capability to handle manual handling.
