The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Coventry/Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Please note that this site will be relocating in June to Lutterworth, LE17
Hours: Mainly night shift and weekends
Pay Rate: Β£13.36 - Β£15.05
Location: Coventry, CV3 until June (relocating to Lutterworth, LE17)
Job Type: Ad-hoc, ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
- Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation.
- Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day.
- Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
- Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
- Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
