The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wetherby area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. * please note an induction/assessment is required for this role prior to starting – 6am for induction* Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 05:00am- 07:00am starts Pay Rate: £16.54 per hour PAYE Location:Wetherby, LS23 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: – Please note that the role will be double manned * Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/ restaurants within the local area * Around 10 – 15 drops per day * ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure * Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems * Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises * Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns – when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard. * Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays Requirements: * Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). * 1 years experience on Class 2 * Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. * No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Excellent communication skills. * A safety-first mindset.
