The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C and C) to join the team.
Roles

Hours
Shifts run across Monday to Sunday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)
- Class 2 Twilight - 14:00pm- 16:00pm start time
- Class 2 Days - 06:00am- 09:00am start time
- Class 2 Nights - 21:00pm- 23:59pm start time
Pay Rate
- Class 2 Days - £15.00 per hour PAYE
- Class 2 Twilight - £15.00 per hour PAYE
- Class 2 Nights - £16.21 per hour PAYE
Location: Motherwell, ML1
Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for permanent.
The role
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
- Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C or C).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
