The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support. Assessments Available ASAP!

Hours: Night shift positions only. Typical start times fall between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. Flexible working patterns available.

Pay Rates: £20.00 – Nights, £25.00 – Weekends.

Location: Coventry, CV8.

The Role:

  • Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift
  • Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy
  • Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience
  • Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E)
  • Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical)
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
