The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunters (CAT C&E) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 03:00am start

Pay Rate:

  • Between 6am – 6pm - £15.28 per hour PAYE rising to £16.36 after 12 weeks of service
  • Between 6pm – 6am - £15.28 per hour PAYE rising to £19.08 after 12 weeks of service

Location: Crawley

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

  • Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard
  • Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
  • 3 months on licence and experience required
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
