The Role
Compliance Officer
This role is being created as part of a brand-new team with a vision to create and build a joint offering of quality healthcare temps that can be supplied nationally.
With our regional hubs in the north, you will have all the tools at your disposal to support the business in bringing in the best staff and ensuring the highest quality of compliance. This role plays an integral part of the agency process in that every candidate will come through, allowing you to expertly quality-check them before they begin supporting our clients.

Duties
- Ensure all candidate files are fully compliant before placement, following CQC, and other relevant guidelines.
- Conduct right-to-work checks, DBS applications, reference checks, and qualification verifications.
- Monitor compliance documentation and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Work closely with recruitment consultants and hiring managers to ensure the timely completion of compliance processes.
- Prepare regular compliance reports and audits for management review.
- Stay up to date with changes in healthcare recruitment regulations and communicate updates to the team.
- Support with internal and external audits, ensuring full preparedness and transparency.
- Provide guidance to candidates and staff on compliance-related queries.
This role requires
- Preferred experience in healthcare compliance or company admin of a similar kind
- Experience in volume inbound and outbound call making - not sales
- An organised and conscientious individual as this role is pivotal in getting staff out to work
- A team player, you will be working closely with the Account Manager
- Ability to split time 50% admin work and 50% inbound and outbound call work
- The ability to manage a busy workload
