Our Client are a well-established and growing company specialising in the Multi-Utility World EV and Renewable Connections & Systems. Currently looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to the Team to be based in Northamptonshire.

The Role

Managing the company's financial performance by undertaking all aspects of financial management; corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, payroll, management accounts as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the financial performance of the company and support the business growth plans.

The Candidate

  • Essential:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Very strong Excel use (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, SUMIF).
  • Proven experience in financial management within a medium-to-large UK company.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Extensive experience with project related WIP/Accrued income calculations.
  • Ability to review process from broad to drill down perspective and strive for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage and motivate diverse workforce.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Desirable:
    • Utilities Industry Experience
    • Construction Experience
