Class 2 driver - NIGHTS

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers on behalf of our client in Barnsley. MUST BE IMMEDIATLEY AVAILABLE Hours: 3/4 shifts a week as per operational needs, shifts are available Monday – Saturday on a rota basis (Sundays quietest day) Start times from midnight to 2am (approximately 8-10 hours shifts). Pay Rates (2 payment options): – £14.43 p/h ( from 10pm onwards) / £13.12 p/h (from 6am onwards) – all PAYE – £16.16 (with holiday pay). Location: Barnsley, S74. Job Type: Long term ongoing. The role: · One stop per shift, pick up the vehicle from our client\’s site and drive to our client\’s customer location. · Driver will be required to load the van on occasion with the designated items and the vehicle will be sealed after loading (a photograph of the interior will be taken). · Following this, driver will then commute to one of our client\’s depots and unload the vehicle under supervision when required, documenting the unloaded items by taking a photo of the interior. · Returning to the original depot empty. · Occasionally doing collection runs as required. Requirements: · Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C) · Minimum of 3 months proven experience. · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers\’ hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test. · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset. · Be accustomed to working unsociable hours.
