The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area.
We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C ) to join the team.
Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour however, additional hours will be added on top of timesheet.
Job Type: Minimum 6 week contract, potentially leading to ongoing work
The role
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels - mail delivery.
- 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (Class 2).
- 6 months experience required
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
