Summary

Our client, a leading M&E contractor based in Yorkshire, is on the market to expand their team by bringing onboard an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing Renewable Energy division. Established in the early 2000s they have grown year on year and currently have over 300 people employed directly into the business. Over the past 3 years they have put plenty of focus into their Renewables division and have seen constant growth. The ideal candidate will have experience within Solar PV or EV, they will however consider proven Business Development Manager from transferable industries.

Duties

You will play a key role in driving the company’s growth even further, your main goal is to identify business opportunities, build relationships, and ultimately boost revenue. Here’s a breakdown of typical duties:

  • Networking with potential clients and industry contacts.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Attending conferences, industry events, and meetings.
  • Spotting potential clients, partners, or markets for expansion.
  • Pitching products/services to potential clients.
  • Working with marketing to align campaigns with business goals.
  • Preparing business proposals and presentations.
  • Reporting to senior management on progress and challenges.
  • Analysing competitors and industry developments.
