The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Swansea area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am
Pay Rates: £16.36 PAYE Per Hour, overtime after 40 hours £24.54ph PAYE
Location: Swansea, SA5
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- 40 Drops per day to well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations.
- Handle occasional push roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
- Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision, including shunting duties when required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement. 6 months experience required.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
