DaVita is looking for a FLOAT Patient Care Tech to serve our patients in the greater Faribault, MN area.

Position Details:

  • Home clinic will be Faribault Float to Northfield, Mankato, and Rochester as needed
  • $2.75 float shift differential offered while in the float pool
  • Work 10-12+ hour shifts / 3-4 days a week, including every other Saturday
  • Clinics are open Monday-Saturday, shifts can start as early as 4:00 AM
  • No work on Sundays

Training and Benefits:

  • Paid training program combining classroom and hands-on learning
  • Reimbursement for Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, caring for up to 4 patients at a time
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, including recording stats and machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on dialysis topics
  • Work under RN supervision as part of a cross-functional team

Requirements:

  • Desire to work in healthcare
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfort working around blood and needles
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics
  • Healthcare experience or certifications preferred
