DaVita is looking for a FLOAT Patient Care Tech to serve our patients in the greater Faribault, MN area.
Position Details:
- Home clinic will be Faribault Float to Northfield, Mankato, and Rochester as needed
- $2.75 float shift differential offered while in the float pool
- Work 10-12+ hour shifts / 3-4 days a week, including every other Saturday
- Clinics are open Monday-Saturday, shifts can start as early as 4:00 AM
- No work on Sundays
Training and Benefits:
- Paid training program combining classroom and hands-on learning
- Reimbursement for Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, caring for up to 4 patients at a time
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis, including recording stats and machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on dialysis topics
- Work under RN supervision as part of a cross-functional team
Requirements:
- Desire to work in healthcare
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort working around blood and needles
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long hours on your feet
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics
- Healthcare experience or certifications preferred
