The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply – typically driving a Class 2 vehicle, however, on occasions may be required to drive a Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts and Pay

  • Shifts: Monday to Sunday. Start times vary between 6pm and 3pm.
  • Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE
  • Location: Crawley, RH10
  • Job Type: Ad‑hoc / Temp / Ongoing

Responsibilities

  • Bulk multi‑drop – 15/20 drops/collections.
  • Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
  • Valid and in‑date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety‑first mindset.
