The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply – typically driving a Class 2 vehicle, however, on occasions may be required to drive a Class 1 vehicle.
Shifts and Pay
- Shifts: Monday to Sunday. Start times vary between 6pm and 3pm.
- Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE
- Location: Crawley, RH10
- Job Type: Ad‑hoc / Temp / Ongoing
Responsibilities
- Bulk multi‑drop – 15/20 drops/collections.
- Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
- Valid and in‑date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety‑first mindset.
