Network Engineer

We\’re looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, improving, and evolving our network infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your existing expertise and contribute significantly to a dynamic environment. You\’ll be responsible for supporting critical network operations, independently troubleshooting complex issues, and actively contributing to the design and implementation of our infrastructure.

Network Support
What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network incidents.
• Help with the deployment and maintenance of network equipment.
• Identify and Implement appropriate connectivity solutions for our business.
• Develop, test, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans for network services.
• Provide support to internal users and collaborate with the Application Support team.

Infrastructure Development

• Create and maintain comprehensive network infrastructure documentation, including design diagrams and operational procedures.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new network technologies and solutions.
• Contribute significantly to the design, architecture, and implementation of new network solutions.
• Plan and execute network upgrade paths, ensuring minimal disruption.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities for significant improvements in network performance, security, and reliability.
• Develop and optimize efficient support processes and automation strategies.
• Lead and participate in projects aimed at increasing network availability and resilience.

What You\’ll Bring

• Proven experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs).
• Demonstrated experience in network troubleshooting tools and techniques, with the ability to diagnose complex issues independently.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (CCNA certification or equivalent practical experience required; CCNP is a plus).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls and VPN technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate).
• Familiarity and practical experience with virtualized environments, such as VMware.
• A proactive, independent, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and various operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices.
• A degree or equivalent in a technical field is highly desirable.
• Experience with network scripting/automation (Python, Ansible, PowerShell) is a significant advantage.
