Our clients reside in their own homes or independent accommodations, all conveniently accessible by public transport.Some clients have pets (cats or dogs) for companionship. Confident drivers are preferred, as you may need to assist clients with transportation to gym sessions, local visits, or appointments.Responsibilities Observe and record the client\’s health status.Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.Observe and record the clients health status, and ensure their safety and well-being.Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.Job Details Rota & Pay: Shifts are usually between 2-4 weeks live-in at a time. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.Pay rate: £134.31 – 159.13 per dayTravel allowance: Competitive travel allowance for each placement.Food allowance: Competitive food allowance per day, if applicable.Training & Support Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You\’ll receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. Our clients reside in their own homes or independent accommodations, all conveniently accessible by public transport. Some clients have pets (cats or dogs) for companionship. Confident drivers are preferred, as you may need to assist clients with transportation to gym sessions, local visits, or appointments. You will be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, followed by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, you can be part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. There are also opportunities for longer placements of up to 4 weeks at a time. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role. The pay rate remains £134.31 – 159.13 per day. This role includes a Joining bonus of £250 after starting and successfully passing probation. Job type: Live-in.
