We are a successful Vehicle Repair Centre seeking a skilled and reliable HGV mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles for a range of fleet customers to ensure they remain safe, roadworthy, and compliant with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, brake tests and servicing of HGVs
  • Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs
  • Perform MOT preparation and ensure vehicles meet legal standards
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and service records accurately
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a HGV mechanic or similar role
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of current DVSA standards and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license (HGV license desirable but not essential)

Hours:

  • Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm
  • Optional Overtime Available
  • Flexible Working Hours Available
  • Part Time Hours Available
