About the pub

The Trawlerman boasts a seaside location in the holiday town of Cleethorpes. Located within walking distance of two holiday parks and just a stone's throw from the seafront, The Trawlerman is a highly seasonal business, providing the perfect platform for a seasoned General Manager to showcase their skills in a high-profile pub.

Delighting guests with our community menu with daily carvery offering, the Trawlerman currently trades at an average of £30,000 per week in net sales, with a sales mix of 65/35 in favour of food sales.

The Trawlerman has real potential to develop further as a family dining destination. It hosts occasional family-focused events which are well supported. Carvery is available every day and this really shines for a great Sunday lunch.

This is the perfect pub for an experienced general manager with the ability to flex between summer and winter trade. Our ideal candidate must be able to manage high volume turnover but then scale down in winter to control the business through quieter months. Carvery experience would be desirable. Someone with the ability to engage with the local community throughout the year is essential. Local knowledge or experience of managing a seasonal business would be an advantage.

Accommodation is available in the form of a manager's flat benefitting from three double bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen and bathroom.
