We are looking for a Product Designer to join Travtus and help shape the end-to-end experience of our AI-powered platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move beyond individual screens to design complete, connected user journeys that are clear, consistent, and ready for engineering to build. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, developer-ready designs, thinking in systems, and ensuring a strong level of execution across everything you produce.

You will work at the intersection of product, design, and AI, helping define problems, shape solutions, and deliver measurable impact for both users and the business.

As a Product Designer at Travtus, you will own the end-to-end design process, from discovery through to delivery and iteration. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver fully realised, build-ready designs. This includes designing for complex, AI-driven workflows, thinking through edge cases, error states, and real-world usage scenarios.

A key part of your role will be to bring structure to a fast-evolving product, creating and evolving design systems, patterns, and frameworks that ensure consistency and scalability across the platform. You will also play an active role in shaping product direction—balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals—while using data, feedback, and AI tools (e.g. Claude) to inform decisions and accelerate your workflow.

Must have requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer (or UX/UI Designer in a product-led environment)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, from problem definition to shipped solutions
  • Ability to deliver complete, developer-ready designs with clear flows, states, interactions, and specifications
  • Strong UX thinking, including handling edge cases, error states, and complex workflows
  • Ability to think in systems and frameworks, not just individual screens
  • Experience creating or significantly shaping design systems and reusable components from scratch
  • Strong understanding of product thinking (problem → solution → impact) and ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and user value
  • Experience using data, analytics, user feedback, or experimentation to inform design decisions
  • High proficiency in Figma
  • Experience using or willingness to adopt AI tools (e.g. Claude) to enhance design workflows
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to deliver complete, high-quality work before sharing
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to undefined problems
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers and product managers, contributing to solution design—not just execution
  • Strong communication skills, including clearly signalling work stage (exploratory vs final) and ensuring alignment across teams
  • Ability to drive clarity and alignment across stakeholders, not just deliver design outputs

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience designing AI-powered or automation-driven products
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, or data-led product optimisation
  • Understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/React)
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Experience working with customer success, sales, or operational teams to inform product decisions

We are a dedicated team, working in a truly collaborative style, where everyone is heard and brings something valuable to the conversation. Constantly pushing boundaries to create groundbreaking solutions for our customers. We are fundamentally challenging the way one of the largest industries in the world operates, and our commercial success pays testament to the skill, commitment and passion that our team displays every day.

Working together in person fuels our best ideas and innovations, which is why all team members spend at least three days a week in our London office.

Benefits:

  • Be part of a growing, mission-driven startup with global ambitions
  • Exposure to cutting-edge AI technology in a practical, high-demand sector
  • Collaborative, fast-paced team culture with space to innovate and grow
  • Full-time, salary: £50,000–£70,000
  • On-site working model with a modern London office (Farringdon)
  • Private Healthcare
  • Pension
  • Deliveroo Allowance

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

  • Designs are complete, connected, and ready for engineering to build without ambiguity
  • User journeys are fully mapped, including edge cases and failure scenarios
  • The product becomes more consistent and scalable through strong systems and frameworks
  • Design decisions clearly link to user value and business impact
  • Feedback is quickly incorporated, with visible improvement over time
  • Stakeholders and engineers have clarity and confidence in design outputs
  • AI tools are used effectively to increase speed without reducing quality
