We’re looking for a Business Analyst who sits at the intersection of clients, product, and technology. This role is about understanding real business needs — from customers or internal teams — and translating them into clear, structured requirements that drive effective technical development, product configuration, and deployment. You will play a critical role in pre‑onboarding and onboarding, ensuring client requirements are correctly understood, documented, and reflected in how our AI platform is configured and tested. Alongside this, you’ll support internal teams by documenting product flows, system behaviour, and business context — ensuring everyone shares the same understanding of what the product does, why it does it, and how it should work. This is an interdisciplinary role that ensures business intent is accurately converted into technical understanding, and that technical solutions remain grounded in real‑world use cases.
About the Role
- Business & Client Discovery: Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business goals, workflows, constraints, and success criteria. Lead requirement discovery during pre‑onboarding and onboarding, ensuring needs are captured clearly and realistically. Act as a trusted, client‑facing partner who can confidently bridge business and technical conversations.
- Translation into Product & Technical Delivery: Convert business needs into clear, structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical development or product configuration. Ensure requirements are understandable and actionable for engineering and product teams. Support product deployment by aligning configurations with documented business intent.
- Product & System Documentation: Document how the Travtus platform works from a business perspective, including workflows, rules, integrations, and decision logic. Create and maintain diagrams that show how product components and processes flow together. Ensure documentation is accessible, accurate, and useful across teams.
- Business‑Led Testing & Validation: Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria rooted in real business use cases. Support and execute testing to validate that product behaviour aligns with client needs and expectations. Help identify gaps between intended outcomes and actual system behaviour, working with teams to resolve them.
- Internal Enablement & Knowledge Management: Own and maintain the Travtus Internal workspace, ensuring product knowledge, client learnings, and documentation are centralised and usable. Support teams by providing clarity on how business context maps to technical implementation.
- Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, documentation, testing, and onboarding workflows. Contribute to automation initiatives where they improve quality, speed, or consistency (e.g. QA, configuration, validation).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working closely with product and technical teams.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical or product requirements.
- Experience working with complex SaaS products.
- Comfortable being client‑facing, leading discovery and requirement discussions.
- Strong documentation and diagramming skills (processes, flows, system behaviour).
- Experience defining and supporting business‑driven testing and validation.
- Confident working with ambiguity and evolving requirements in a startup or scale‑up environment.
- Strong data analysis skills using spreadsheets or BI tools.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience working with AI‑driven or automation‑heavy platforms.
- Hands‑on exposure to APIs or tools like Postman.
- Experience with Notion or similar knowledge management systems.
- Familiarity with QA or deployment processes.
