This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team working on bespoke control and automation systems for customers across multiple sectors.

This role would suit someone from an electrical, controls, or systems engineering background who enjoys a varied, hands-on position combining design, problem-solving, commissioning, and customer-facing project work.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, you will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle from concept and design through to build, testing, installation, and commissioning. Projects are highly bespoke, technically challenging, and delivered into a range of industrial and specialist environments.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing accurate electrical schematics and hardware designs using EPlan or similar software
  • Selecting suitable control and instrumentation hardware based on customer requirements
  • Supporting electrical build, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities
