Travis Talent is proud to partner with a long‐established, world‐class manufacturer in Hull seeking to add a talented Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Technician to their high‐performing engineering team.
This is an opportunity for a proven engineer who thrives in a fast‐paced, highly automated production environment to take ownership of machinery reliability, drive efficiency, and play a key role in continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern
Days: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) / 7:00 am – 12:30 pm (Friday)
Lates: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) / 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm (Friday)
Nights: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am (Monday to Thursday) / 6:00 pm – 11:30 pm (Friday)
Salary is £41,812.54 for day shifts only, rising to £46,725.51 on a rotational pattern.
The Role
Provide electrical and mechanical support across automated production lines
Respond to breakdowns efficiently, driving root cause analysis and preventative solutions
Contribute to PPM, improvement projects, and installation of new machinery
Champion high safety, quality, and performance standards on every shift
What You\’ll Bring
Time‐served apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience maintaining complex manufacturing or process equipment
Confident fault‐finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and ideally PLC systems (Siemens or Allen Bradley)
A proactive mindset – someone who takes ownership, thinks on their feet, and never settles for \”that\’ll do\”
