Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 12:30pm Friday

Pay Rate: £17.76 per hour (£34,013.24 per year equivalent)

Travis Talent is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing client in Hull who are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual with experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and supporting your team to deliver outstanding results.

The Role

  • Supervise production activities across the factory floor, ensuring targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of production operatives to ensure an efficient workflow.
  • Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across production processes.
  • Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and health & safety compliance within your area.
  • Work closely with senior management to identify training needs and ensure production goals align with company objectives.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A hands-on approach with a willingness to step in and support production when required.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
