Our client, a reputable and growing M&E contractor, is looking for a dynamic Electrical Contracts Manager to join their Sheffield team. With a strong pipeline of work across Yorkshire and the UK, they’re known for their commitment to quality, safety, and long-standing relationships with high-profile clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Overseeing multiple electrical contracts from pre-start through to final account, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious delivery
- Driving site safety, compliance and best practice — leading by example at all times
- Managing project programmes and resource planning to eliminate delays and maximise efficiency
- Taking ownership of commercial aspects, including cost forecasting, CVR reviews and subcontractor engagement
- Maintaining strong client relationships and representing the company at site meetings and progress reviews
- Ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards are met throughout every stage of the project
- Proven experience managing electrical projects/contracts within commercial or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC contracts (especially Early Warning & Compensation Events), and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing (2392), SMSTS and CSCS qualifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to manage site teams and liaise with clients confidently
- A commercial mindset and ability to analyse project costs, progress, and risks effectively
- A competitive salary of up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
