Travis Talent is recruiting on behalf of an established local manufacturing client for a Project Planner to join its scheduling and maintenance team in Rotherham. This is a varied, hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a busy workload, communicating with customers and colleagues, and making sure the right people, paperwork and materials are in place.
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and scheduling maintenance resources and labour.
- Responding to urgent customer enquiries and repair requests while keeping accurate site records.
- Preparing and issuing RAMS and supporting health and safety compliance.
- Processing sales orders and ensuring all supporting paperwork is correct.
- Raising accurate purchase orders for service, maintenance and sales requirements.
- Keeping customers updated on live orders and building strong working relationships.
- Estimating work and preparing quotations.
- Working closely with teams across the manufacturing site.
- Reviewing processes and suggesting improvements to service and efficiency.
