They are now looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer who can support their ongoing contracts and growing workload across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join a respected local business delivering critical fire safety services within live environments. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems, with a strong emphasis on Advanced fire alarm systems. Much of the work will take place in sensitive environments such as hospitals, so a calm, professional, and methodical approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems
- Working extensively with Advanced fire alarm systems (essential)
- Operating within live environments, including healthcare settings
- Ensuring all work complies with BS 5839 standards
- Completing service reports and technical documentation accurately
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, site teams, and management
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Advanced fire alarm systems (essential)
- Good working knowledge of relevant British Standards
- A full UK driving licence
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
