Are you a hands-on NPI Engineer with a passion for taking products from concept to shop floor? Travis Talent is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our Sheffield-based manufacturingclient who are expanding their team with the addition of an experienced and driven NPI Engineer.
In this role, youll take centre stage in driving New Product Introduction and Development (NPI/NPD) projects, collaborating with design, prototyping, and manufacturing teams to bring innovation into production. You\’ll be the bridge between concept and delivery, ensuring products are manufactured to spec, on time, and with quality and cost at the forefront.
What Youll Be Doing:

Leading NPI/NPD projects from design validation to production readiness

Coordinating cross-functional teams across design, prototyping, and fabrication

Managing jigs, fixtures, tooling, and plant for new product launches

Running internal NPI reviews and reporting progress via Gantt charts

Driving the Engineering Change Process and maintaining clear ECN tracking

Championing DFM, process improvements, and manufacturability enhancements
What Were Looking For:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HND considered)

Experience in leading NPI projects within a manufacturing environment

Skilled in 3D and 2D CAD (CREO preferred)

Experience with stage-gate controls or APQP is an advantage
