Quality Inspector Sheffield£33,000Days & Afters Rotation | Early Finish Fridays Travis Talent Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Sheffield-based manufacturing business seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused engineering professional looking to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role Working as part of the quality function, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections on incoming materials, work-in-progress components and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

You will play a key role in identifying non-conformances, maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting the wider manufacturing team in delivering products to the highest quality standards.

Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.

Use a range of measuring and inspection equipment to verify product quality.

Ensure gauges and inspection equipment remain within calibration requirements.

Support continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Assist with the development and improvement of inspection procedures and work instructions.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Previous experience within a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician or Quality Control role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Rotating days and afters shift pattern.

Early finish on Fridays.
